Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What is a "customized mini-lecture"?

A: Our customized mini-lectures function just as flexible as individual lessons except there are more than one students in the same classroom, but never exceeds five. We can customize a mini-lecture for you and your acquaintance(s) or, upon request, match the other students in similar schedule and course needs to be your classmates. The rate for a customized mini-lecture is the same as a standard mini-lecture posted on our website: $155 for a session of nine hours.

Q: I am enrolled at a mini-lecture. What happens if I need to take off a class during the session?

A: For either standard or customized mini-lectures, when a student cannot attend a class, what he or she needs to do is simply to get his or her classmates agree to cancel the class before giving the instructor a 24h advance notice by phone or via email. After that, the instructor shall check with students in the next class to figure out the optimal time slot to make up an additional class no later than three months after the session expires. No additional charge will be applied at students' cost.

Q: How do I pay the tuition?

A: We accept cash, checks and credit card payment through secure Google Checkout. For mini-lectures, installment payments are available so that students may choose to pay $30 each time when they come to the class if that is more convenient to them. The remaining tuition can be paid off anytime before the last class of the session, whichever way students feel more comfortable with. As for immersion programs, individual lessons and interactive web learning sessions, advance full payment is required prior to the first class.

Q: What does your "zero-risk refund policy" mean?

A: We value every student's confidence in our instruction. If a student is dissatisfied in anyway, we unquestionably will refund the full amount paid by the student. In other words, we guarantee our students to be satisfied or the class is free.
